Parking Meter Collector - Driving

Responsibilities

Collect parking revenue from parking meters and pay stations from assigned collection routes, report any meter malfunctions, and any other safety related items.

• Collect parking revenue from all assigned parking meters and pay stations utilizing specialized keys and canisters to properly secure and deposit the monies retrieved
• Report any and all meter malfunctions through the provided reporting device during the collection process
• Use and comprehend assigned collection route maps to efficiently collect all parking revenue from the parking meters and pay stations
• Securely load and unload specialized canister vaults used during the revenue collection process

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

Availability to Work :    Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, holidays and / or week-ends may be required.

License Requirement : The individual will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and listen. The employee is required to work outside in varying and harsh weather conditions (cold, rainy, snowy, harsh, hot, humid).

Salary Range : $19.50 per hour
