Job Title : Scribe / Medical Assistant

Do you enjoy helping people, working in a fast-paced environment, and making a difference? If so, Oakland Orthopedics and Sports Medicine / Clarkston Pain and Rehab is looking for you to join the team as a scribe / medical assistant!

As a scribe / MA, your job responsibilities would include, but aren't limited to :

• Medical scribing during procedures and clinic
• Measuring and recording vital signs and medical histories
• Preparing patients for examination / procedures
• Drawing blood
• Collect laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing
• Wound care
• Administering medications as directed by the physician
• Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
• Facilitate medication, imaging, and procedure prior authorizations
