Job Description : The Senior Buyer leads procurement transactions in a key technology category, driving initiatives to optimize spend, reduce costs, and manage contract negotiations. This role collaborates with stakeholders across Legal, Data Protection, Cyber Security, and AI to ensure successful end-to-end contract review and execution.

As a member of Travelport's Global Sourcing team, the Senior Buyer helps equip business and technical teams with the tools and services needed to deliver industry-leading solutions.

Responsibilities :

Partner with Business Units and Supplier Relationship Teams

• Engage business units to understand third-party goods and services needs
• Lead and coach internal teams through the sourcing process : requirements gathering, market analysis, supplier identification, proposal evaluation, negotiation, contract creation, and spend analysis
• Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and support teams
• Resolve supplier performance issues and escalate as needed
• Assist in identifying purchasing channels and sources
• Build collaborative partnerships to plan and execute procurement activities
