This position is on-site in Westfield, MA.
Salary Range : $75,000 to $90,000 - depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Tasks
Design and implement comprehensive safety and environmental policies and procedures, overseeing documentation, recordkeeping, inspections, and training.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations by keeping abreast of changes and implementing necessary program adjustments.Facilitate engaging EHS training programs for employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness.Conduct and document regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure adherence to all relevant permits and regulations.Coordinate visits from internal and external regulatory authorities; prepare and file annual environmental reports including air, waste, water, Tier II, and Form R.Guide the site safety committee in conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Manage workers' compensation cases and EHS programs focused on cost-control and accident prevention.Develop protocols for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance by assessing existing programs and collaborating with site managers to enhance them.Analyze safety history and processes to develop strategies aimed at preventing accidents and health hazards.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.Preferred certifications include Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP / CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).3-6 years of experience in a related field.Subject matter expert in EHS principles and practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.Strong time management and organizational skills; adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.Effective communicator with experience in engaging executive leadership, staff, and diverse clients.Proactive approach, demonstrating sound judgment; capable of identifying issues and developing effective solutions.Self-motivated and confident professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings.Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities
