Summary :
- Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
- Implementing medical care plans;
- Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
- Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
- Performing other related duties as assigned / required.
- Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities :
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.ssesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Complexity of Work :
