Job Description

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Job Specialty : Physical Therapy

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8H Days 0800 - 1630 (Mon-Fri), rotating weekend AM shifts (1 weekend shift / month)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 1 year, outpatient experience a plus, previous EPIC experience helpful

License : State physical therapy license or application in place

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have : Completion of 8 hours of in-house orthopedic education prior to treating orthopedic patients

Job Description :

• Work primarily in acute inpatient and hospital-based outpatient settings
• Treat a variety of patients, including those with orthopedic, geriatric, sports, Parkinson's, vestibular, pediatric, lymphedema, and wound care conditions
• Participate in weekend morning rotational shifts, with inpatient coverage only
• Enjoy a team environment with 4 rehab aides and 2 physical therapy assistants
• Dress code includes scrubs or casual professional attire
• Participate in a department-specific orientation program, including a 4-hour EPIC class and 8 hours of Relias Education, with 1-2 days of clinic and hospital orientation
• Report to PT Manager / Supervisor and collaborate with lead PT
• Handle a patient load, generally seeing 8 outpatients, and 5-12 inpatients per day
