Job Summary :

Are you a talented videographer with a deep passion and exceptional skill for crafting compelling narratives in the edit suite? We are seeking a versatile Creative Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. This role requires a professional who is not only capable of capturing high-quality footage across various formats (including potentially aerial and specialized shots) but truly excels in the post-production process, transforming raw video into polished, engaging, and impactful content that aligns with our brand vision and achieves our communication goals. Key Responsibilities :

Video Editing (Primary Focus) :

Masterfully edit raw video footage into compelling final videos for various platforms (Social media, website, internal communications, advertising, etc..).

Apply advanced editing techniques to control pacing, rhythm, and flow, enhancing the narrative and emotional impact.

Perform professional color correction and creative color grading to ensure visual consistency and aesthetic appeal.

Mix, sweeten, and master audio, including cleaning up dialogue, integrating music, and adding sound effects effectively.

Design, create, and incorporate motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and other visual elements.

Select and integrate music and sound effects that enhance the mood and message of the video.

Efficiently manage, organize, and archive project media and assets.

Export videos in various formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios optimized for specific delivery platforms.

Incorporate feedback and make revisions in a timely manner.

Stay updated on editing software and techniques.

Videography :

Planned and executed video shoots based on creative briefs or concepts, potentially including specialized setups like green screen.

Set up and operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording gear.

Direct subjects on set to capture desired performances and interactions.

Ensure all footage is captured at high quality and is well-suited for the post-production process.

Photography :

Capture high-quality professional photographs as needed for projects or supplementary assets.

Planning & Pre-Production :

Develop visual concepts and potentially create storyboards or shot lists.

Contribute creative ideas during project planning and execution.

General :

Manage multiple video and photo projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

3+ years of professional experience in video production, with a significant focus on advanced video editing.

Expert proficiency in the Adobe suite, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Openshot, Lightworks, Clipchamp, etc. is non-negotiable.

Proficiency in creating basic to intermediate motion graphics, likely using software like Adobe After Effects.

A strong portfolio or reel that clearly demonstrates advanced video editing skills, storytelling ability through editing, and technical proficiency (color, audio, graphics). Please be prepared to discuss your specific contributions to the post-production of submitted projects.

Demonstrated storytelling ability through visual sequencing, pacing, and narrative structure.

Proficiency in professional audio recording techniques and equipment.

Ability to create storyboards or effective visual plans for video projects.

Experience with professional photography, with a portfolio demonstrating photographic skills.

Experience operating drones for video capture. (FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification is required.)

Experience executing video shoots utilizing green screen technology, including proper lighting and keying in post-production.

Deep understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, continuity, transitions, and narrative construction.

Proficiency in color correction and color grading workflows

Proficiency in audio mixing, sweetening, and basic sound design.

Solid understanding of video production fundamentals (composition, lighting, camera operation).

Technical knowledge of video codecs, file formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, frame rates, and delivery standards for various platforms.

Excellent media management and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills :

Basic graphic design skills (e.g., for creating static assets, understanding design principles).

Experience with aerial videography beyond basic drone operation.

Experience with emerging video formats like 360-degree, VR, or AR video production.

Experience with live streaming setups, production, or broadcast workflows.
