Senior Fire Alarm Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Fire Alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Service technicians shall respond to scheduled and emergency service requests and perform in-depth trouble shooting, repair and / or replacement of system equipment.
• Service Technicians will have the ability to program fire alarm systems or have experience with programing low voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, security or CCTV.
• Frequently resolve problems through research of multiple alternatives.
• Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
• Participate in weekly on call rotation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software / systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Effectively communicate project status to management.
• Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
• Industry related NICET and / or CA State Certification is preferred or obtain within one year of hire.
• Experience with the following manufacturers : Edwards / EST, Kidde, Notifier, FireLite, Bosch, Silent Knight, DSC, Telguard, and Gamewell / FCI is preferred.

Pay Range

USD $32.00 - USD $45.00 / Hr.
