Senior Financial Planning Analyst
Location : Phoenix, AZ
A fully integrated cannabis company that operates Arizona's largest greenhouse cultivation facility. Our mission is to deliver premium-quality cannabis products
through innovative practices, sustainable cultivation methods, and exceptional customer service. We also operate nine retail dispensaries.
Position Overview : We seek a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills and business acumen to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
This critical role requires close collaboration with our Business Intelligence team to drive informed business decisions across our production, retail, and wholesale operations.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze detailed pro forma financial statements and forecasts.
- Generate internal consolidated management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses. Administrator level knowledge of Cube, Planful, Oracle Essbase or similar platforms.
- Develop and maintain rolling financial plans with sensitivity analyses for various
production levels, retail operations, and wholesale performance.
Partner closely with the Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate, timely, andinsightful financial and operational reporting.
Coordinate and support external auditors during annual audit processes.Assist in the preparation of our annual plan and quarterly updatesProvide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based onfinancial analysis.
Continuously improve and streamline existing financial processes and reportingmethodologies.
Assist in special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other finance-related tasks as needed.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.Proven experience working extensively with financial statements, budgeting processes,and auditors.Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, and sensitivity analysis.Strong experience in creating detailed pro forma financial statements.Previous experience collaborating with Business Intelligence or Data Analytics teams highly preferred.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Knowledge of the cannabis industry preferred but not required.Compensation :
