Senior Accountant

Description

Halliday Marx have partnered with a very well known tech business to hire a Senior Accountant on an interim basis for 3 months.

Duties

• Prepare and review month-end journals and reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of the company’s financial statements in accordance with the US GAAP and local GAAP
• Drive process improvements
• Prepare flux and variance explanations as part of the monthly close process
• Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Review purchase orders and work with our business partnering team to ensure accurate accounting
• Prepare statutory adjustments for applicable entities
• Review balances for areas of both US GAAP ledgers and Local GAAP ledgers
• Ensure any GAAP to STAT differences are timely addressed
• Maintain proper process documentation and evidence in accordance with SOX
• Support the annual US financial statement, periodic and statutory audits
• Support new entities roll-out and integration of M&A
• Provide support for other ad hoc projects
