Job Function :

Day Shift.

8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.

Part of outpatient department that has 7 adult psychiatrists and 1 child psychiatrist.

Adult only care - med management appointments and new patient evaluations

Expect 1-2 new patients per day, have therapy services on site

Clinically rich environment (primarily medicare / medicaid) with a variety of psychopathologies and patients facing many economic pressures and social determinants.

AllScripts EMR.

No call required , all emergencies handled by call services and hospital psychiatrists on call.

Academic environment - typically 3-4 PGY3 residents in the clinic at a time, opportunity to teach if desired.

Job Requirements : Job Requirements :

• Active NY License.
• Residency training in Psychiatry, subspecialists will be considered (Geriatric / Forensic / CL / Addiction).
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification required.
• New residents graduating in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply!
