Assignment Duration : 12 months

Work Schedule : Schedule will vary but will range from 8 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Needing to add additional pharmacy technician to shipping fulfillment team to help back fill position while FTE is being pulled to complete SME SM cloud testing.

Project

Key Responsibilities :

Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis

Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist

Perform prescription data entry functions (preQA) by viewing images and inputting prescription information directly into the system

Prepare and submit request for prescription refills

Initiate clarification requests

Receive verbal instructions from prescribers as allowed by pharmacy regulation

Complete reorder processing for the timely filling of prescription refills

Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and company policies

Complete work list according to guidelines set by Manager

Performs other duties as assigned

Complies with all policies and standards

Qualification & Experience :

Education / Experience : High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e. biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization / certification) experience. Familiarity with drugs commonly used to treat chronic / debilitating illnesses.

Licenses / Certifications : Current state's Pharmacy Technician Certification

Foundation Care : Licenses / Certifications : Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license OR the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire

AcariaHealth : State pharmacy technician license relative to where the assigned pharmacy is located (exception being NY where a pharmacy technician license is not required). License required at the time of hire.

Candidate Requirements

Licensure Missouri Board of Pharmacy Technician License Preferred :

Must haves : 2+ years of shipping / receiving, ordering, packing, warehouse or logistics experience.

Nice to haves : someone comfortable being on their feet all day.

Typical Day in the Role

• Schedule will vary but will range from 8 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday. Might have to stay late depending on FEDEX pick up at end of day, but team typically tries to leave by 6 pm.
• Typical tasks will be packing and shipping orders, receiving deliveries, restocking supplies and assisting in trash removal end of day.
