Pawn Broker
- Provide Steller Customer Service—Greet and assist all customers and answer questions
- Abide by all Federal, State, and Local regulations concerning money services and firearm sales to maintain an FFL and Financial Services
- Ensure the growth of the store by obtaining company, store, and individual goals
- Execute pawn / buy for customers
Qualify the customer and determine the need
Inspect pawn / buy items for functionality and conditionNegotiate loan amounts based on fair market values and customer needObtain required documentation from customersExplain the terms and conditions of pawn loans to customersBIN pawned items in a timely and consistent mannerExecute loan payments from customersPerform background checks regulated by NICSClean store and merchandise retail inventoryCompetitively price and tag inventoryRetrieve, test, and clean defaulted pawns and buysPerform daily inventory counts and security protocols to protect company assetsPerform the “ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS” as outlined below : Essential Functions (including but not limited to)
Attendance and punctualityMust be able to communicate both verbally and in written form in the English languageMust be able to use point of sale (POS), calculator, phone system, fax / copier, and computer proficientlyMust be able to complete internet searches for item valuation, in item pricing, and other research purposesMust be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours per dayMust be able to sit for one hour per dayMust be able to bend, stoop, reach and lift. Lifting up to 5 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally, and 100 pounds rarelyMinimal exposure to adverse weather conditionsExposure to cleaning agentsMinimal exposure to diesel, gasoline, or gasoline / oil mix fuels found in generators and lawn equipmentOccasional climbing on a ladderShifts will vary, but availability should be as follows :
Monday -Friday 8 : 30 am to 6 : 30 pm
Saturday 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm
33-40 hours per week
