Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing facility located just a few miles west of Miami, specializing in grey iron foundry operations. With a strong focus on environmental compliance, they are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Title V regulations and experienced in working with government agencies on environmental compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead environmental project activities, including site

investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans.

  • Compliance Strategy : Develop strategies to ensure adherence to environmental

    • regulations and hazardous waste management.

  • Environmental Risk Assessment : Identify and advise on environmental risks associated

    • with plant operations.

  • Sampling & Monitoring : Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air,

    • land, and water pollution.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze environmental data to ensure regulatory

    • compliance and prepare reports for management and agencies.

  • Regulatory Evaluation : Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring all operations

    • comply with the latest standards.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Title V compliance and hazardous waste management.
  • Proven track record in environmental project management.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and risk assessment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
