Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of people with kidney disease? As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Your Role : As a PCT, you will be an essential member of a dedicated healthcare team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN). Your responsibilities will include :
- Patient Care : Engage directly with patients to deliver safe and high-quality dialysis treatments. This involves monitoring patient vitals, initiating and terminating treatments, and collecting blood samples as directed.
- Technician Duties : Ensure the highest standards by preparing and maintaining dialysis machines, performing safety checks, and adhering to strict sanitation protocols.
- Safety and Quality : Implement safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment, and follow all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent.Passion for healthcare and patient support.Prior experience in healthcare settings such as dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is advantageous.Ability to mix acids and bicarbonate safely.Must distinguish all primary colors.Additional Requirements :
