We are looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Technician / Optometric Technician to join our growing team. We run an efficient and friendly office providing comprehensive eye care. Our patients expect fast, friendly service with great attention to detail.

Ability to operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment including Pentacam, Corneal Topographer, OCT, Lenstar Biometry, Optos Fundus Photography, Visual Fields etc.Ability to perform Manual Refraction, autorefraction, and lensometryAbility or interest in learning to operate and maintain Excimer Laser, Femtosecond Laser, and MicrokeratomeApplies drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyesPrepares patients for treatment and assists ophthalmologists in LASIK surgeryCounsels patients by providing information regarding treatment, use of drops and drugsProvides an Outstanding Patient experience!Is an ambassador for laser vision correction and cataract surgeryUses empathy and understanding to ensure the comfort of all patientsPerform routine instrument maintenanceUtilize Electronic Medical Records System (NexTech)Assist Doctors with inputting information into EMR system accuratelyEnsures confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical recordsMaintain inventories and order supplies.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent1 year experience as an ophthalmic technician, optometric technician, optometric assistant or ophthalmic assistantAbility to operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
