Driver

Position Summary

The Salvation Army Austin Corps is "doing the most good" by providing holistic, person-centered services to individuals and families in need. In addition to worship services and pastoral care, services include short and long-term case management; food, clothing, utility, rent, and housing support; and connections to community partners.

The Driver is responsible for transporting donations and supplies using The Salvation Army's box truck. $18.00 / hour 15 hours / week

Essential Functions (Approximate Time Spent)

• Load, unload, and transport food and donations. (90%)
• Maintain vehicle fleet, including cleaning and scheduling maintenance. (5%)
• Assist with special / seasonal events, including room set up, driving supplies, etc. (5%)

Driving / Travel Requirements

Regular local driving by agency vehicle. Rare out-of-area travel.
