• Assist in the design and hands-on prototyping of new products and components.
• Perform testing and validation of prototypes and existing products.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Support engineering team in CAD modeling, simulations, and design reviews.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment. What You Bring The needed skills and experience for this role include...
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for innovation and eagerness to learn. Additional preferred skills include : o Experience with prototyping tools and techniques (e.g., 3D printing, machining). o Knowledge of product testing standards and methodologies. o Exposure to project management tools. Education
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Mechanical Engineering (or closely related) program at an accredited college or university.
• If enrolled in a Bachelor's program, you need to have completed at least the first two years of the program.
• Completed Statics / Mechanics and 1 semester of Physics.
• minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) Qualifications
