Rohr Inc. d / b / a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Senior Manager, Procurement in Chula Vista, CA. 30% travel, a majority of which would be national travel throughout the U.S., as well as some international travel to France and Germany.

What You Will Do

• Assess new and existing suppliers in advance of an award and reactively assess poor performers in order to pinpoint and address supplier deficiencies and uncover areas in need of improvement to drive risk mitigation and improve processes throughout the supply base.
• Analyze performance data and solicit feedback from internal stakeholders to prepare list of suppliers for reviews.
• Perform Supplier Readiness Assessment reviews.
• Create and maintain Supplier Readiness Assessment schedule.
• Drive schedule adherence with internal and external parties.
• Create agendas for the Supplier Readiness Assessment reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to drive continued improvements to SRA procedures and governance.
• Prepare and present metrics regarding Supplier Readiness Assessment execution and action closure.
• Extract and vet demand profiles from SAP system for use in supplier capacity studies.
• Drive continuous improvement of Tableau reporting visuals.
• This position will supervise four reports, 2 Buyers and 2 Senior Buyers.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range is $184,891.00 to $275,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
