Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix, a 746'bed, Level I trauma & teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Arizona, invites applications for a full'time APA'accredited Neuropsychologist to join its Department of Neurology. This role balances clinical excellence, interdisciplinary engagement, supervision, and academic contribution in a diverse adult patient population.

Position Highlights

• Clinical focus on adult outpatient and inpatient assessments (stroke, concussion, TBI), with extension into neurodegenerative and transplant populations
• Provides full psychological services, including pre- and post-transplant evaluations, consultation, brief interventions, and participation in multidisciplinary team discussions
• Screens for psychiatric comorbidities, substance abuse, health literacy, cognitive impairment, motivation, adherence risk, and family support systems
• Collaborates with neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, cardiology, primary care, and transplant / MCS teams for holistic patient care
• Conducts comprehensive neuropsychological testing, interprets results, authors clear reports, and offers feedback to patients / families
• Delivers brief evidence'based treatments aimed at enhancing emotional adaptation, adherence, and quality of life
• Engages in consultation and ongoing care, especially for candidates with post-surgical challenges
• Actively participates in team meetings, case conferences, and staff meetings
• Supervision and training duties for psychometrists, practicum students, including seminars, grand rounds, and case presentations
