Job Description
You will be a Chemical Engineer for our team, providing subject matter expertise in chemical engineering to support training and operational events. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of chemical synthesis and analytical processes, and we're looking for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our ranks.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing scientific input and expertise for aspects of chemical engineering, including chemical synthesis, testing protocols, and analysis. You will work closely with our team to aid in the setup of training involving chemical production and controls, and provide guidance on chemical challenges.
Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- Provide subject matter expertise in chemical engineering, including chemical synthesis, testing protocols, and analysis
- Aid in the setup of training involving chemical production and controls
- Provide scientific input for training and operational events involving chemical challenges
- Work independently with scientists in the National Labs and other Government agencies
- Manage specific projects related to mission requirements as required
- Develop and implement training programs for personnel on chemical synthesis and analytical processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and effective use of chemical synthesis and analytical processes

Further Information About This Opportunity :
This position is in Fort Bragg, NC.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Desired skills
Experience interfacing directly with fabricators and vendors in order to produce hardware.
Experience with conventional and non-conventional military weapons systems.
Identify technical issues arising from the operation of military systems in a combat theater of operations.
Generate analysis results and recommendations that inform decision-making, test planning, and technology implementation.
