Job descriptionEntry level knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant technical field of specialization. Experienced using 3D CAD software such as PTC Creo (Pro / Engineer, ProductView). Strong organizational skills and proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities to achieve a deliverable deadline. Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines. Ability to create / maintain large Excel spreadsheets. Ability to resolve basic technical design and development problems. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to solve technical problems. Demonstrated self-starter, who requires minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with Electrical components, electrical Wiring and integrated systems is a plus Experienced using 3D CAD software such as PTC Creo (Pro / Engineer, ProductView). Role : Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer
Client : DOD-Aerospace
Location : Anniston, AL
Duration : 1-year contract (temp-to-perm)
Hourly Rate : up to $40 / hr (W2, non-benefited)

Position Description :
- Review and interpret design specs, drawings, models, documentation, and test results to ensure compliance with engineering standards, military specs, and product requirements.
- Serve as the 1st Shift Engineering Point of Contact for our Artillery Vehicle Program, supporting vehicle production.
- Collaborate with production support to generate Problem Reports for engineering issues, and work with the Integrated Program Team (IPT) to develop solutions.
- Manage the Variance control process, including securing internal and customer approvals for deviations from the Technical Data Package (TDP).
- Develop timely solutions-standard and non-standard repairs, Variances, and configuration notes-for both simple and complex production issues.
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance collaboration between Design and Production, including TDP configuration management and design change workflows.
- Recommend design improvements at the system, subsystem, or component level to the design engineering team.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety objectives, policies, and regulations.
