We're looking for a detail-driven Independent Auto Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for disassembling and reassembling a wide range of vehicle components, documenting each step of the process to ensure quality and consistency, and applying your technical know-how to enhance modern automotive systems.
This is a unique opportunity to work independently on exciting builds that involve not only traditional auto skills but also cutting-edge manufacturing techniques like 3D printing, light metalwork, and plastic forming.
What You'll Do :
- Disassemble and reassemble interior automotive components with precision and care
- Remove and reinstall wiring harnesses, trim pieces, and body panels
- Create, update, and maintain detailed build instructions and technical documentation
- Apply your knowledge of modern automotive entertainment systems during installs and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with a forward-thinking team, while managing your own workflow and schedule
- Utilize innovative manufacturing techniques to support unique builds and prototypes
Requirements
Proven experience as an Auto Technician with a strong focus on teardown and reassembly
Deep understanding of vehicle interiors, wiring, and trim work
Strong documentation and organizational skills - you take pride in doing it right and writing it down
Comfortable working independently and efficiently
Familiarity with modern infotainment systems and electronic components
