Job descriptionStrong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proven experience as a Senior Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law office setting Proficient legal research and document review skills, including using Westlaw Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, with a focus on litigation support Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software Familiarity with legal terminology, research and court filing procedures Strong administrative and technological skills
This position requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with all phases of complex litigation with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Update and maintain client files
- Draft and file legal documents
- Proofread legal documents for errors and inconsistencies
- Research case law, statutes, rules and regulations
- Assist attorneys with calendaring and meeting all deadlines
- Provide administrative and legal support for all phases of HOA representation, including general counsel and litigation
