GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOBField sales representatives are the face of Workstrings International to our US Land customers. In this role, successful applicant will interface with rig personnel daily across Haynesville, LA and surrounding areas, maintaining up to date records, ensuring equipment is checked in and out accordingly, identifying any up-sale opportunities, supporting end users administratively and technically, and ensuring our service levels exceed customer expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for making land rig sales calls to promote WSI in the fieldPerforms visits to rig / company personnel to discuss needs of existing customers and obtain new customersStays engaged with key stakeholders in the field while monitoring rig and well performance to recommend appropriate equipment and provide information on how WSI can assist on the rigKeeps an accurate schedule of rental days and turns in reports to appropriate internal stakeholdersReviews rig reports weekly and completes and maintains weekly sales and inventory reportsCommunicates with customers and company personnel to discuss any issues with the rental equipmentTrain rig employees to handle and protect the equipment to increase cost savings for WSI and the customerVerifies all inventory by visiting rigs before and after each jobCommunicates and coordinates with Dispatchers for pre-loading of a jobWorks with administrative personnel to complete tickets and paperwork including rental invoices, billing rental days, rental agreementsResponsible for attending all safety related meetings and following all safety regulations and guidelines as defined by Superior and its customersResponsible for conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times including personal appearance and interaction with the customerPerforms basic assessments on pipe condition on every wellInvolved in rig inspections and assists in organizing inspections if necessary. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining copies of inspection reports and hardband reportsResponsible for knowledge of drilling schedules and to establish possible future sales opportunities.Review damage approval forms post-job and discuss any issues with customerKnow and understand Workstrings International Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems & Procedures Manuals while also complying with all HSE requirementsTECHNICIAL SKILLS and BEHAVIORAL ABILITIESAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine correspondence.Ability to use and apply basic math skills.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to meet physical requirements as defined by the company.Prior knowledge in oilfield rental business preferred.Ability to drive long distances in all types of weather.
