COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

ROLE IMPACT

The Member Services Specialist supports members of a healthcare organization by delivering accurate, courteous, and prompt responses to inquiries regarding insurance, benefits, and claims. Success in this role means improving member satisfaction, reducing resolution times, and providing seamless service across communication channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding claims, coverage, and benefits
  • Explain insurance plans, procedures, and healthcare navigation processes clearly and accurately
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in the CRM system
  • Resolve complaints and escalations promptly to meet service level standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective issue resolution
