A Flight Attendant is a trained professional that ensures the safety and comfort of all passengers on a flight. Flight Attendants can work for both commercial and private carriers. Their roles and responsibilities will vary depending on the aircraft itself, the number of passengers, and the kind of passengers they have on board. For example, some Flight Attendants may serve first-class customers who have a more tailored experience while aboard the flight. But some may work on smaller chartered flights that are less concerned with providing a luxury experience.

Each airline and aircraft have their own rules and regulations of which Flight Attendants must abide. Flight Attendants are required to know the full scope of the airline's safety guidelines for each aircraft and must be able to communicate these to the passengers aboard the flight. The most important task for a Flight Attendant is to verify the safety of everyone on board.
