Role Overview : As a Registered Nurse in Employee Health, you will provide essential healthcare services to our organization's employees. You will ensure compliance with healthcare policies, deliver health screenings, and support workplace safety efforts.
Core Responsibilities :
- Provide treatment for job-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct new hire health screenings, respirator fit testing, and immunization clinics.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and deliver safety training programs.
- Offer counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and other health-related concerns.
- Monitor trends in employee safety events and collaborate with colleagues to enhance workplace safety.
- Design and implement training initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
- Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses in all practices.
- Demonstrate professional nursing standards in alignment with SSM Health's mission.
- Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience : Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
Physical Requirements :
Regularly communicate verbally and in writing.Frequent standing, walking, and light lifting (0-25 lbs).Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and patient assistance.Use of vision, hearing, and smell for patient care and safety.Required Licenses and Certifications :
