Job description

Trident Consulting is looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients - Pomona, CA 91768 - Hybrid

Job Title : Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives

Location : Pomona, CA 91768

Type : Contract

Education Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience

Experience Requirement :

  • Typically requires 3 to 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and techniques

    • Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Manage multiple workstreams concurrently to meet key regulatory filing milestones and deliver final filing documents.
  • Understand and interpret technical calculations, regulatory requirements, and strategic components associated with assigned regulatory chapters and filings.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for specific components of regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategy, and timely execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate with cross-functional experts, and facilitate solution-driven stakeholder meetings.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with technical subject matter experts to develop compliant and impactful regulatory content.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on recommended strategies to leadership for approval.
  • Draft testimony and written contributions to regulatory filings that reflect approved business strategy and meet compliance standards.

  • Proven experience managing strategic business initiatives that influence future business investment decisions.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to understand and interpret technical project details and calculations.
  • Ability to operate independently, make cross-functional connections across departments, and develop actionable recommendations without heavy guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
