Job Overview

Provide daily hands-on manufacturing engineering support to the Business Unit. The Business Unit uses an epoxy / glass pultrusion process to create the rods used as the core of the insulator. A mechanical crimping process is used to attach hardware to the finished insulator. This position will support all aspects of both operations by developing and implementing tooling, machine, process, assembly, and testing improvements focused on continuously improving safety, quality, manufacturing efficiency, and reliability.

• Supports manufacturing operations, maintenance, and quality personnel to resolve daily issues in a timely manner. Support the Quality department in resolving Product Performance Inquiries (PPI).
