Nurse Manager (RN) - ACU / PACU

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full Time position. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment

Nurse Manager, Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Biddeford and Sanford

• The ideal candidate for this role wants to educate and advocate while leading a team by example.
• Solid leadership, communication and emotional intelligence are necessary to oversee and encourage a team while reaching unit goals and providing excellent patient care.
• Experience in ACU and / or PACU setting and leadership is necessary.

Surgical services are available at both the Biddeford and Sanford locations for Maine Medical Center.

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager has 24-hour accountability for the provision of nursing services on their unit. S / he is responsible for maintaining systems and procedures that will ensure quality patient care, promote cost effectiveness, educate and support competent nursing practice. The Nurse Manager skills entail coaching, motivating and leading a professional team to provide safe and effective care.
