Orthopedic RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical / Surgical or Orthopedic nursing

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois nursing jobs

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from facility

Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a healthcare setting

Orthopedic Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and surgical patients

Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care

Educate patients and families on recovery, rehabilitation, and orthopedic procedures

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital safety standards
