Rent Collection & Receivables Specialist $20-25 / HR. D.O.E.
Monday- Friday 8am to 430pm
Reports To : Accounting Department
Summary : Ensures accurate and timely rent collection, posting of payments when necessary, tracking aged receivables, and coordinating with legal on delinquency actions. Supports financial stability and compliance across the portfolio.
Responsibilities :
- Record, and reconcile rent and ancillary charges (cable, damages, etc.)
- Apply late fees and generate delinquency notices
- Monitor aged receivables and submit monthly reports
- Coordinate with legal staff on nonpayment cases
- Issue service shut-off notices when necessary
