We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator for our client in Memphis. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Payroll coordinator responsibilities include processing timesheets, updating payroll records and answering employee questions about payments. You'll ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Data Entry
- Entering and updating employee information in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
- Managing employee time and attendance records, including timesheets and PTO requests.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
Payroll Processing
Calculating wages, salaries, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.Processing payroll, including direct deposit, paper checks, pay cards and deductions.Ensuring payroll accuracy and timely payment.Compliance and Reporting
Ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Employee Support
Responding to employee inquiries about payroll.Resolving payroll issues and discrepancies.Providing guidance and support to employees on payroll-related matters.Other Duties
Employee expense reimbursements.Handle garnishments, other Court or Federal Order Deductions.Participate in payroll audits.Rapid Card activation, queries, and responding to emails.REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS :
Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar roleFamiliarity with payroll processesWorking knowledge of payroll systemsComfortable with Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteAn analytical mind with good math skillsStrong communication skillsExcellent attention to detailHigh School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
