Position : RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Work towards achieving departmental and organizational performance targets.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.

Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient care effectiveness.

Provide support and mentorship to junior nursing staff.

Experience / Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings.

Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols.

Strong ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs accurately.

Proficiency in documenting patient care activities and outcomes.

Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Experience in utilizing data to evaluate patient care effectiveness.

Willingness to provide mentorship to junior nursing staff.
