Order Selector - Afternoon & Overnight Shifts

Perishable Order Selector / Picker

The Perishable Order Selector / Picker is responsible for selecting, stacking, wrapping, and performing tasks related to the shipping of orders. The Perishable Warehouse includes products that have strict temperature requirements. General warehouse duties occur within the assigned area of warehouse operations, but the position supports all areas of the warehouse, as needed.

Starting at : $19.85 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Obtains and interprets pick list or labels to assemble correct product.
• Stack products, as they are picked, on pallets, according to specifications to ensure maximum cube utilization with minimum damage.
• Secures pallets with plastic wrap for shipment to stores.
• Ensures that deli items are not mixed with other products.
• Ensures that eggs are stacked properly, with no product(s) stacked on top of cartons to minimize possible damage.
• Maintain production percentage based on engineered labor standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork, as required.
• Position pallets properly on trailers.
• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service to store locations in support of the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
• Responsible for attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
