Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist :

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and functional outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress.

Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Educate patients and families on treatment goals and communication strategies.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Speech Language Pathology experience.

Active SLP license (CT license or ability to obtain).

Current BLS certification.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills.
