Our client a leading international law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Trial & Defense Practice . This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated product liability mattersincluding environmental asbestos talc and other toxic tort claimsas well as complex commercial litigation. The practice involves representing policyholders brokers and both domestic and international insurers on high-exposure and latent-type claims. This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior attorney to develop strong litigation skills alongside seasoned trial attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative practice.

Candidate Profile

• JD / LLM from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York AND Connecticut in good standing
• 13 years of substantive litigation experience including commercial litigation
• Courtroom experience including motion practice is required
• Trial experience is required
• Asbestos toxic tort or product liability experience strongly preferred
• Superior legal writing analytical and research abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Foreign attorneys who earned an LLM from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record have Active Bar Admission in both NY and CT and meet the same experience requirements are also welcome to apply .
