IS EPIC- Inpatient Clinical Order Entry Analyst (RN / LPN)
This position is responsible for serving as a clinically trained professional or nurse liaison between Information Systems, Nursing services, Administration, and any other departments necessary that provide patient care. This position uses expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate projects for the facility to best facilitate its clinical usefulness. This position is responsible for coordination and development of evidence-based physician order sets, provider documentation, and Infection Control workflows. This position requires familiarity with provider documentation standards and clinical workflows within the organization, including a strong understanding of physician orders and downstream integrated workflows initiated from orders. This position provides staff training and performance improvement of systems implemented / utilized. This position engages in significant interaction with clients, vendors, support personnel, administration, peers, and others.
Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing required with a nursing degree from Accredited School of Nursing
Active TennesseeRNrequired.
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required; experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred.
EPIC Certification will be required in the timeframe as determined by the Chief Information Officer
