Job Summary and Qualifications
The Pediatric Respiratory Care Practitioner is integral to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include :
Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting findings.Administering respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol medications, as well as chest physiotherapy.Assisting with airway management and the initiation of mechanical ventilation.Monitoring patient responses and taking action as needed to ensure optimal care.Transporting ventilator-dependent patients safely.Responding promptly to emergency situations to ensure patient safety.Qualifications :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.State Licensed Respiratory Therapist.Credential as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Registered Respiratory Therapist, or a relevant degree / certificate from an accredited institution.No travel required.
No prior experience is necessary.
