Capital Electric Supply has a position available at the Upper Marlboro, MD location.

Position : Credit - Customer Service & Collections

Department : Credit

Salary : $18 - $26 / hour

The Credit Assistant Administrative / Collections is responsible for providing excellent customer service, working with customers (internal and external), in support of attaining our company goals. An upbeat, "can do attitude" is vital. Duties include information gathering, recordkeeping, new account set up, processing of credit applications, filing, daily deposit of accounts receivable checks, being organized and having a good follow-up routine. This position also includes a relatively small number of accounts with collection duties, which requires a good follow-up routine. The successful applicant will learn how to use Eclipse, our Operating system, as well as Get Paid, our collection software. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements : Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service!

Skills and abilities include paying attention to detail; strong and clear communication skills both spoken and written; strong computer skills including Word and Excel; inclination to working with numbers, managing follow-up on duties and collections.

Hours : 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, full time in the office required for at least the first year.
