Job description

Title : Director of Design , Childrens Plush, Gift Sets and Soft Accessories

Location : New York, NY Hybrid

Salary : $100,000 +

An established and respected manufacturer of children's soft accessories and plush located in New York City is seeking a talented design director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop designs and concepts for new products including plush, gift sets, blankets, bath,

hats etc. under our existing brand.

  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure accuracy and completeness of

    • all project information.

  • Deliver all artwork on time while adhering to brand guidelines and standards for both

    • internal and licensed partnerbrands.

  • Prepare and verify all production files before they are sent to factories.
  • Participate in quarterly shopping trips to gather inspiration and market insights.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new product developments.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Design or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in designing plush, accessories and children's products.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop / Illustrator.
  • Ability to create 3D renderings
  • Strong skills in creating original prints and incorporating personal artwork into designs.
