Summary

In the daycare, staff members are responsible for supervising children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. This includes assisting with their basic needs, such as helping with eating, dressing, and bathroom use. Staff also engage children in age-appropriate activities and play, fostering both learning and fun. Maintaining a clean and organized environment is crucial, which involves cleaning up after activities and ensuring spaces are hygienic. Additionally, staff are expected to follow daily schedules, ensuring children adhere to nap times, meal times, and other routines. Effective communication with parents is essential, providing updates on the child’s day and any concerns that may arise. Staff must also be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or injuries, ensuring the safety of all children in their care.

Duties

• Ensure Cleanliness and Organization : Keep the daycare environment clean and organized, including sanitizing toys, cleaning up after activities, and ensuring the restroom and eating areas are hygienic.
• Communicate with Parents : Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress, any challenges, or successes during the day. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Emergency Preparedness : Be trained and prepared to handle emergencies, such as administering first aid, following evacuation procedures, and handling minor injuries or incidents efficiently and calmly.
