Shift :  Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Guaranteed Hours : 72–96 bi-weekly

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend

Block Scheduling : Not allowed

Position Overview :

A facility in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will care for patients with a variety of surgical and medical conditions, including colorectal, bariatric, GI, renal, diabetes, and general surgeries. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, wound care, and ostomy management.

Responsibilities :

Perform IV starts, NG and Foley placement

Monitor and care for patients with colorectal, bariatric, GI, renal, diabetes, and post-op conditions

Provide telemetry monitoring and critical care assessments

Deliver precise nursing assessments and critical thinking in patient care

Float within the unit as required

Requirements : Active IN RN license

BLS required

Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg / Telemetry experience

Unit Details : Number of Beds : 25

Patient Ratio : 5 : 1, occasionally 6 : 1

EMR : Cerner
