We are looking for a Strategy Intern. This position will be based at one of our sites in New York, NY, Sacramento, CA, Lexington, NC, or Pittsburgh, PA.

During your summer journey with us, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the North American Strategy Team where you will learn how contribute to high-impact projects, conduct market research, and develop compelling presentations for senior leadership, all while learning from experienced strategy professionals

A little bit about us

Siemens Mobility provides efficient and coordinated transportation of people and goods by rail - including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.

How does Strategy play into the big picture?

The Strategy Team provides our senior leaders with research, analysis, and recommendations related to long-term business planning and emerging market trends, and critical initiatives. The team collaborates with all the business units in our region and with colleagues throughout the global Siemens Mobility business. As a Strategy Intern, you will assist the Director of Strategy with various tasks, including :

Market Research & Data Analysis :

• Support the collection and analysis of market data, competitor studies, and industry trends.
• Assist in strategic benchmarking and due diligence efforts to identify key insights.
• Help analyze strategic action fields to inform business decisions.
