IT Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Business Systems Analyst for our Houston, Texas office with a broad skillset to join our team.

Position Summary

The IT Business Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between business units and the IT department, ensuring that technology solutions effectively meet business needs. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing system enhancements, supporting applications, and identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for new systems, enhancements, and integrations.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for IT development or configuration.
• Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of new applications or system upgrades, including testing, documentation, and user training.
• Work with developers, vendors, and other IT resources to ensure solutions meet business requirements and align with enterprise standards.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to resolve system or integration issues.
• Create and maintain process flow diagrams, data mapping, and system documentation.
• Assist with the planning, design, and support of network architecture to ensure systems and infrastructure meet organizational needs.
• Assist with change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications or systems.
• Plan and manage the configuration and relocation of branch offices, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
• Provide ongoing user support, including problem resolution, reporting, and process optimization.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
