RN 36 Hours ACLS, BLS, STROKE and PALS.

expected to float between GGH / FLSC

• D / N / W / H rotation with full call rotation which includes two full weekends of call and one weekday / week per Response time 1 hours;
• All agency staff will be expected to float between Geneva General Hospital and Finger Lakes Surgery Center. Shifts : ; D / N / W / H rotation with full call rotation which includes two full weekends of call and one weekday / week per Response time 1 hours;

The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient need, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient's episode. The OR RN develops specialized skill in the area of patient admitted for medical conditions. He / She provides care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions. The Endo RN is accountable for patient family education to assist in understanding self care beyond hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and healing. The OR Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a Healing Environment.

Teaches others as appropriate and delegates tasks and interventions consistent with the individual's education, training, and scope of practice. Understands the personal responsibility to safeguard public safety through compliance with infection prevention strategies.

Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve a potential contact with blood, body fluids, and tissues.
