Job description

Baystate Health , home of the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate , is seeking a Faculty Hematologist / Oncologist  to join our cancer program in western Massachusetts .

Position Highlights

  • Role : Full-time or Part-time Faculty Hematologist / Oncologist
  • Institution : Baystate Health - not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system and home to UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate
  • Environment : Hybrid role with clinical care, teaching, and research opportunities
  • Teaching : Faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate with opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Research : Opportunities for investigator-initiated, cooperative, and pharmaceutical trials (clinical, translational, and quality improvement)
  • Impact : Contribute to the Baystate Regional Cancer Program (BRCP) , which treats 70% of the regions patients and sees ~3,000 new cases annually
  • Workload : Separate hematology and oncology consult services, hospital admissions covered by medicine service, and flexible clinic schedules tailored to your preferences

  • Certification : ABMS Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
  • Training : Completion of an accredited fellowship in Hematology / Oncology
