• $30,000 sign-on bonus for twenty-four-month FT commitment and a housing allowance of $1,000, grossed up, for up twelve months
• for a new hire who relocates. Relocation assistance is also available.

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Responsibilities include :

Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment

Documents patient care given.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual / psychosocial support needs

Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current NM RN or compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) current upon hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) / ENPC within six months of hire or transfer. Newly graduated RNs must have BLS upon hire and obtain ACLS and PALS / ENPC within six months of hire. New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association certifications. Notwithstanding this ‘grace period’ for obtaining American Heart Association certifications, employees are not excused from being current in all existing certifications that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.
