Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The primary responsibilities will involve accurate order picking and packing for shipment. This role also includes occasional forklift operation to move and stage materials, making versatility and safety awareness key.

Key Responsibilities

Order Selection : Accurately select and stage customer orders based on Bills of Lading (BOLs) and packing slips, ensuring correct item counts and product integrity.

Packing & Shipping : Carefully pack orders to prevent damage during transit, label them correctly, and prepare them for outbound shipping.

Forklift Operation : Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (reach truck, sit-down, or stand-up, specify if necessary) to move, stack, and load materials and pallets as needed (this will be an occasional duty, not constant).

Inventory Management : Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and organizing the warehouse floor for maximum efficiency.

Receiving : Occasionally assist with unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and putting stock away.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment, including picking, packing, and shipping procedures.

Proven experience using Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and order forms for accurate order fulfillment.

Current or recent certification / experience operating a forklift is required.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand / walk for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
